Cotton Candy Poke Cake

This cake has a slight cotton candy flavor and a colorful white chocolate pudding soaked in it, then topped with the fresh whisk and cotton candy. This cotton candy cake is super simple. No, seriously, it is. Children can assemble it, and they will love it.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of milk
  • food coloring
  • 2 cans white chocolate or vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 can of white cake mix or your favorite white cake recipe
  • 1 pack of cotton candy
  • 1 large container with the fresh whisk
  • 1/4 tsp. Cotton candy flavor can use up to 1/2 tsp. Tea if you want more flavor

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cake batter according to the directions on the box or in your recipe.
  2. Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cotton candy flavor and mix.
  3. Pour into a greased or sprayed 13 x 9-inch baking pan and bake according to the box or your recipe.
  4. Leave to cool on a pendant rack for only 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. While cooling, mix two small cans of instant pudding mix and 3 cups of milk.
  6. Add the food coloring. You can use the colors of your choice. Mix just enough to mix the pudding.
  7. Poke holes in the cake with the back of a wooden spoon and pour the pudding mixture on top. Evenly distributed.
  8. Let cool in the fridge for about an hour, then cover with a fresh whisk.
  9. Garnish with cotton candy.

Notes

Store this cake in the refrigerator. It is also best to add cotton candy shortly before serving.
