Italian Pinwheels

Italian Pinwheels

These super delicious Italian pizza grinders are so easy to make. They are filled with slices of provolone cheese, salami, pepperoni, ham, red peppers, and banana and wrapped in a creamy Italian garnish. I like to get provolone cheese and thinly sliced meats from the deli, but I have also used cheese and pre-cut meats before. To give even more flavor to these windmills, I spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixed with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

These Italian Pinwheels make a perfect aperitif for a picnic or barbecue or lunch. I love to do them if we leave for the day. I'm going to throw them in a container and put them in the cooler with our drinks and some other snacks.
